The International Conference on Nuclear Science and Power Engineering 2025 (NSPE 2025) will be held grandly in Sanya, China. The conference, with the theme of "Safety, Innovation, and Sustainability: Towards a Clean Energy Future," brings together experts, scholars, researchers, and industry representatives from around the world in the fields of nuclear science and technology, nuclear engineering, reactor physics, thermal hydraulics, nuclear power systems, radiation protection, and new energy materials to jointly explore the cutting-edge technological progress, engineering application challenges, and low-carbon energy transformation paths in the field of nuclear energy. As an important city of Hainan Free Trade Port, Sanya is actively building a clean energy demonstration base based on national major energy projects such as the Changjiang Multipurpose Modular Small Reactor Demonstration Project in Hainan. It has shown broad prospects in the comprehensive utilization of nuclear energy and the coordinated development of marine energy, providing an important practical platform for nuclear energy technology innovation. NSPE 2025 will focus on key issues such as advanced nuclear reactor design (such as small reactors, fourth generation reactors), nuclear safety and accident simulation, nuclear waste management and radioactive environment management, nuclear power propulsion technology, nuclear hydrogen coupling systems, intelligent operation and digital monitoring, and nuclear material performance evaluation, promoting the development of nuclear energy technology towards safer, more efficient, and cleaner directions. NSPE 2025 invites colleagues from around the world to gather in the tropical coastal city of Sanya to discuss the development of nuclear energy technology and work together to promote the sustainable transformation of global energy and achieve carbon neutrality goals.
